Liu, Shaowei, Food Technology Consultant

Shaowei Liu is helping the firm’s global clients on revisiting science solutions for their food safety cases, due diligence and government investigations. He is working close with the National Health Committee, the standard marker in China. He received his Phd. Degree in University of Pennsylvania. He later was a postdoctoral fellow at Kansas State University and later as the chief engineer of Food R & D center housed in the University of Nebraska. Mr. Liu has published ten SCI and EI papers since 2005, including 3 in national core academic journals and 11 for international conference papers. Prof. Liu is also the editor of Journal of Food Technology, the invited reviewer of Journal of Food Quality, Journal of Food Engineering and the expert for USDA Food Fund Project.


Mr. Liu was a professor in food major of a top Chinese university, and has already taken many important academic roles among Alpha Epsilon、Gamma Sigma Delta, IBE, IFT, AACC, ASAE and AOC as well.
